All of that sickness made for a week of restless indoor play. When Liam suggested paint, I suggested something even better:
I covered the table with craft paper, gave them each a plate of paint and a pile of trucks, and let them go for it.
They had a lot of fun. I had a few moments of peace without sibling squabbles.
As with all paint projects, it eventually turned to body paint.
And everything else paint.
But it was nothing a bath couldn't cure. And, really, washing trucks in the bath was just as much fun as the painting.
Even if it took a few rinses to get everything clean again.
Sometimes I forget how much fun a big mess can be, especially on these snotty-nose kind of days.
